The kitchen at Saints Peter and Paul school had been equipped with a large roof mounted extract fan drawing air through a vent directly from the kitchen below but no canopy.
In order to comply with modern guidelines, the school engaged BWF to install a new system.

The Design
As is very often the case with school projects, the budget was tight and so as the fan was of adequate capacity and the existing cooking equipment was all electric, BWF simply installed a DW/172 compliant stainless steel canopy with a short duct to connected it to the roof vent.
