| Set in the extensive grounds of Weston Park, the new Granary Restaurant required four extraction canopies in all. The system design had to allow for the constraints of the historic building structure and the sensitive, rural location. A heater battery and perforated diffusers were selected to reduce nuisance drafts in the kitchen. As the main kitchen was to be visible to diners through the servery we used high-specification fluorescent strip lighting to highlight the cooking suite while a theatre-style canopy made a feature of the front of house charcoal grill.
