Oakfields School, Frome

This 650 pupil school had lost its production kitchen in the 1990’s when hot school meals had ceased.

The reinstatement of the kitchen called for new equipment and a new extraction system with replacement air, canopy lighting, wall cladding and gas interlock with plant located on the flat roof above.

This design, which has proved ideal for countless small to medium-sized school kitchen in recent years, was installed by BWF in coordination with building works and kitchen install during the school’s summer holidays.
