3,400 people a day use the staff restaurant at Nationwide Building Society’s Lakeside headquarters.

The challenge accepted by BWF was to disconnect and reinstate fire suppression systems, to completely replace a 5 metre back-bar extract canopy designed to fit across a corner at 45 degrees, to install a circular pasta bar canopy and to complete all this in just 5 days.

With detailed planning, the install went very smoothly and the staff were greeted with a spectacular makeover at the following week’s reopening.
